I offer a range of Scentwork workshops and classes using the Talking Dogs Scentwork method. There’s a clear progression of classes for you and your dog to attend to learn and develop the skills you need to search a variety of environments together as a team.
Services
What is Scentwork?
Is your dog a fan of sniffing? Would you like to harness this natural skill into a game you can play together? Then Scentwork is for you! The method of Scentwork I teach involves you working together with your dog to successfully search different environments.
Workshops
Workshops form the core of Scentwork. This is where you’ll learn the skills involved in helping your dog become a Super Sniffer! Starting with an Introduction to Scentwork (Scent 1) you can then work through the various workshop levels to develop your Scentwork skills, and even take and Accredited Handler Assessment (Scent 6) to showcase what you have learned.
Practice Sessions
Once you’ve learned new skills in the workshops, it’s time to put those skills to work! Practice sessions allows you to build confidence with those new skills and really embed those new behaviours. They are suitable for those who have completed Scentwork Level 2 and above. There are also advanced practice sessions for those who are more experienced at Scentwork.
Scent Walks
Take the skills you’ve learned in the indoor workshops and utilise them in the great outdoors. My Scent Walks offer you the opportunity to combine a short dog walk with Scentwork and provide you with inspiration to use Scentwork on your regular dog walks.

Today we completed Scentwork 4 at Ripon Racecourse and we LOVED it!! We have loved all the workshops and it has been amazing to see Freddie becoming a more efficient sniffer as time has gone on! I wasn’t sure how he would cope outside with so many distractions but he had such fun and did so well. Lindsey makes everyone feel so welcome; humans and dogs, and takes time to personalise all the advice to suit everyone using her vast knowledge and experience. Would highly recommend to anyone with a dog!
